Effects
On March 10, 2011, several agencies and the United Way staff met to discuss possible effects of the Wisconsin budget bills on our community. The notes refer to both positive and negative implications our community will face if the budgets are passed as they are currently written. The purpose of the document is to summarize many of the details that are embedded in the State of Wisconsin budget plan as presented by Gov. Scott Walker. The sources for this document were the Governor's Budget Report, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Sheboygan Press and Wisconsin Counties Association.
