Campaign Cabinet

The Campaign Cabinet's primary goal is to assemble a volunteer team (with the exception of United Way staff) to organize and plan a successful fund raising campaign. The Cabinet is vital in assisting United Way staff with follow-up on businesses and organizations ensuring that all potential contributors are contacted and that their donations are collected and returned to the United Way office for timely processing.

Member Responsibilities

The Cabinet begins meeting in June of each campaign year and continues to meet monthly through December or January.  Cabinet members are responsible for attending campaign meetings, training sessions and public and United Way functions when possible.  They are vital in assisting United Way staff with follow-up on businesses and organizations ensuring that all potential contributors are contacted and that their donations are collected and returned to the United Way office for timely processing. A team evaluation of the campaign is compiled upon completion of the campaign and suggestions for change are made for the following year.

Division Defined

A “division” is a grouping of specific accounts responsible for a portion of campaign revenue; “division chair” is the volunteer responsible for a respective division including recruitment of team members, organization and performance of their specific accounts.

2011 Campaign Chairs

Jim and Jean Gallimore are honored to serve as 2011 campaign chairs. Jean grew up in Sheboygan County and Jim is the President of U.S. Bank. They share a vision of a healthy, vibrant and well-educated community. Jim and Jean believe "There is no better way to realize that vision than getting involved with your time, voice and generous gifts". They both strive to make our community a better place for their children and yours.

2011 Campaign Cabinet

The campaign cabinet is comprised of the campaign chairs, vice chairs that become chairs in the following year, the executive director of United Way, other United Way staff and volunteers who act as division chairs to coordinate cabinet volunteers in their respective divisions. Without these volunteers we could not raise the funds needed for vital programs in our community.
