The Sheboygan & Plymouth Area United Way (SPAUW) is a not-for-profit organization that conducts a county-wide fund raising campaign once-a-year to provide money for programs run by local health and human services agencies to address the greatest needs within our community. Now Accepting Students for Summer Lunch

The 2012 Free Summer Lunch Program is expanding beyond summer school to serve the needs of hungry children. We will serve children from June 18- August 16. The free lunch program is provided via a collaboration of Sheboygan County Head Start, Boys and Girls Club of Sheboygan County, Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization, Sheboygan Area School District and the Sheboygan and Plymouth Area United Way. Register for the 2012 program today. Ten volunteers are needed each day to prepare lunches and prep for the next day. Learn how you can volunteer today. Please complete the Summer Lunch Registration form and return to your child's school to enroll in this program. For additional information, please call (920) 912-3033.

Sheboygan Falls United Way to Merge

The Board of Directors at both the Sheboygan & Plymouth Area United Way and the Sheboygan Falls United Way have unanimously decided to enter merger discussions.We are excited about this new development and believe it will bring efficiencies and new resources to help address the greatest human needs throughout Sheboygan County. The merger is supported by a growing number of Sheboygan County’s businesses and leadership. We will keep the community informed throughout the merger process. Race for United Way - June 24

The "Race for United Way" fund raiser is back for another big run on Sunday, June 24, at Road America’s Blain’s Farm & Fleet Motorplex from 9:00 - 3:30 pm. Entry fee is $600 for each business or organization team. Double the fun by sponsoring two teams for $1,000 and we will place your logo on the Race for United Way t-shirt provided for each team member.

Long pants and tennis shoes are required. Drivers will receive basic instruction on how to get in and out of a kart, how the machine works, and the proper line around the track. We encourage you to bring 10x10 pop-up tents as your “team headquarters”. Register today by sending in your registration form and payment to United Way, 2020 Erie Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081. Hurry-spots fill up fast!

Who We Are

Presided over by a volunteer board of directors, the United Way brings people together to focus on human needs.  By focusing on the most critical local needs in Sheboygan County, the United Way will move beyond the surface of community problems to tackle the underlying causes of these issues, making a greater impact on our communities. Our continued partnerships with organizations offer programs that best address these most urgent issues.

Our Programs

United Way raises funds annually which support programs provided by United Way affiliated agencies.  These programs serve those in need throughout Sheboygan County and are evaluated semi-annually and annually to measure their effectiveness in the community.
